Fearless became a worldwide hit and not just in North America (where it was certified with six platinum awards for Top Ten Hits Love Story and "You Belong with Me") however, in Canada, Australia, the U.K. and many other countries. Swift's new album Speak Now, released nearly two years following the first one, consolidated the success of this album. The album propelled Swift to the heights of fame. The popularity of Swift only grew with her following three albums -- Red (2012) 1989 (2014) and Reputation (2017) Reputation (2017) and found her moving assuredly into a pop realm that she had already been a part of. The popularity of her music grew after she changed her strategy in 2020's more streamlined siblings the folk singer (and Evermore) and stayed at the top of the charts.
