Morgan Fairchild is an American actor from the United States. The actress was born Patsy McClenny, on February 3, 1950. Through the 80s, she was a household name for her appearances on various television shows. Her fame was for her glamorous portrayal. Fairchild began her career in The CBS Daytime soap drama Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace between 1973 and 1977. She was Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time an actress was able to do such a role. In the year 1980, she played the role of Jenna Wade in Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded the Golden Globe Award nomination for the top Actress for the Television Series Drama. In 1984, she was a co-star on ABC's short-lived, primetime soap Paper Dolls as well as a role as a character in Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild was involved in the theater, and in guest roles for television series including Roseanne Cybill, Friends and Murphy Brown. For the latter she won a Primetime Emmy Award. She is a board member of SAG-AFTRA.
