Amy Smart was an American model and actress. Growing up and being raised in California USA she started her modeling professional career in Italy. She made her acting debut in 1996, when she appeared in The TV production Her Costly Affair. She struggled to get an appearance in Starship Troopers. It was a difficult transition for Amy because she had transition from modelling to the acting profession. Models aren't considered great actors, so they usually be given smaller roles that aren't very important. Amy did her best to get noticed and was eventually offered larger parts beginning with The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. In 2005, Amy took on the lead role in The romantic comedic film Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized for her efforts over the past 10 years. Amy continued to appear in many of the greatest film productions, such as the Crank series with Jason Statham as well as Shameless with Jason Statham, in which she portrayed a character who remained in the spotlight for a long time.
