Amy Smart is a former American model and actor. Amy Smart, who was born and raised California USA began her modelling in Italy. In 1996, she made her debut as an actor in the TV film Her Costly Affair. The actress struggled for a small role for her in Starship Troopers. It was difficult for her to transition into acting since actors were never considered skilled actors and usually got smaller roles. Amy did her best to get noticed and she eventually landed larger parts beginning at The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. In 2005, she took as the lead in the romance comedy Just Friends with Ryan Reynolds. Amy became famous for her work over the past 10 years. She went on doing some significant films like the Crank series starring Jason Statham and the series Shameless where she played an adored recurring character.
